The T-10 Class Association has opened our 2024 class membership sign-up and renewal. As it has been for the past decade, regular membership cost remains at $50. Members renewing after May 1 will incur a $50 late fee in addition to the $50 membership cost. 2023 memberships end on March 31, 2024.

T-10 Class Association Rule 2.5.7 states 'No yacht shall race unless the helmsman is a full member of the T-10 Class Association.'

T-10 Class Association Rule 2.5.8 states ‘No yacht shall race without a current T-10 Class Association Membership sticker placed near the aft end of the Starboard side of the boom.’

The Chicago T10 Fleet in coordination with the Chicago Corinthian Yacht Club held our first winter seminar yesterday. We presented on a cold day to about 25 in person attendees and another 25-30 on Zoom.

Fleet Captain Blane Boynton presented AIS for Racing Sailors, which is an overview of AIS, advice for how to equip your vessel and some thoughts on its strategic value while distance racing. You can find that presentation HERE.

We were then joined by a weather forecaster from NWS in Romeoville for talk about the weather. Zachary did a nice job overviewing the typical weather that we encounter during summer and fall racing.

While the spring sailing season may be under postponement for the time being, the T-10 Class has updated the 2020 dues information and opened the website for dues payment. The Class has pushed late payment fee period from May 1st to June 1st as there may be some delays in getting the season started. You can update your class contact information and pay your dues HERE.
